Whole star anise from Vietnam: the dried star-shaped fruit of an evergreen tree native to Vietnam and southern China, harvested just before ripening.

Warm, sweet liquorice flavour with a strong aniseed aroma. Use in spice mixes, braises, curries, stocks, poached fruit, baking and hot drinks such as chai and mulled wine.
