Pepper - Sichuan Red Whole

Red Sichuan (Szechuan) peppercorns from China, the dried berries of the prickly ash tree.

Unlike chilli, Sichuan pepper isn't hot in the usual sense: it gives a tingling, numbing sensation with a fragrant, citrusy aroma. Toast and grind for Sichuan dishes, stir-fries, spice blends and dry rubs.

Ingredients:
Sichuan pepper (berries).

Nutritional Information: Not required for herbs and spices (used in small amounts).

May be present: traces of gluten, sesame, soy, dairy, sulphites and tree nuts due to packing processes.
