Nigella Seeds

Raw whole nigella seeds from India. One of the oldest recorded spices, used in Indian, African and Middle Eastern cuisines.

Raw, the seeds have a slightly peppery, toasted-onion flavour with a slight bitterness; dry roasting makes the flavour sweeter and more palatable.
