Caraway seeds are commonly grown in Asia, Europe, and Africa, and are widely used in many traditional cuisines. They are extremely aromatic with an earthy, anise flavour, imparting a warm, mildly aniseed flavour to beverages, baked goods, cheese and a variety of sweet or savoury recipes. Add our Caraway seeds to hearty soups and hotpots, rice dishes and Indian curries. They are also perfect for home-made sauerkraut, preserves and pickles, baked goods, herbal teas and chai blends.
Caraway seed oil is also used as a fragrance component in soaps, lotions, and perfumes, as a breath freshener and is sometimes found in toothpaste.
May be present: traces of gluten, sesame, soy, dairy, sulphites and tree nuts due to packing processes.
Country of Origin: Germany.
