Cardamom is a spice related to ginger. It is native to India and South-East Asia, and has a strong, warm flavour and an intense aroma. Our pods can be used whole or freshly ground, in Indian food and beverages, or ground for spice blends and baked goods. Use a mortar & pestle to grind pods, either on their own or with other dried or fresh spices.
